Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Easton

This was a positive experience; I expect to be staying here again in a couple of weeks. Check-in by Tiffany in the evening was great service and very quick. The beds were comfortable and the rooms and hallways looked new and totally clean. Breakfast was bountiful; the food was filling, and the staff kept replacing items as they ran low. On the downside, the hotel is on the outskirts of Easton and the hotel walls were not able to confine our neighbors' conversations entirely to their room. Edit: after several more visits, room has been universally quiet. Very nice hotel staff.

The entire front desk staff went above and beyond for us. We were in town for the Ironman Maryland and originally planned to stay at the Quality Inn. Upon arrival, we did not feel safe at the Quality Inn and immediately called the Fairfield down the road hoping they had any rooms available (it was about 11PM). The lady I talked to on the phone calmed me down from a panic and told me the last room available was ready for us when arrived and gave me other room options for the rest of the weekend. We did end up switching rooms part way through our stay, and even got our friend a room who was in the same situation. They accommodated our late check out time and early check in time when switching rooms which was super helpful given all the triathlon equipment we had with us (i.e. bikes, multiple bags/luggage, etc.). The entire staff communicated with one another throughout shift changes, so there was never any questioning of what we were doing/what we needed help with, and they never made us feel like we were a burden. By far, the most accommodating, friendly, and helpful staff I've ever encountered while traveling (I travel often). Thank you! Side note - rooms were clean. Standard type of hotel for suburban travel. Decent location - the Ironman was in Cambridge, so not too far; but also close to some really cool little towns on the water. Safe hotel/location.

BLUF: I highly recommend. Rooms were clean. AC worked, free coffee 24/7. Excellent location with several restaurant options in same parking area. Free breakfast in the morning. Best of all it has a Heated Saltwater Pool!!!! My kids were so happy. 2hrs in the pool and they passed right out at bedtime. That's a win in my book. I will stay again. Bottom line, I recommend.
